Almost more important than the first thing you thought of this morning, is the last thing you thought of last night. That bedtime thought is what you marinated in the entire time you slept.
The first thing you thought this morning sets your tone for the entire day. If the thought was “I don’t want to get up” you’re going to feel that resistance all day. If the thought was “another good one” or “I’m looking forward to today” you’re going to feel that support.
Using a guided meditation when you go to sleep is a great way to marinate in the good stuff and wake up on the right side of the bed!
