Okay, okay, I get it, sometimes no matter how much you prepare you might still experience failure. However, how often is the failure something you are experiencing in your mind because you created some big expectations for yourself? I heard once that keeping your focus 80% on what’s right in front of you, 10% on the side stuff, and 10% on the end goal, is the best way to ensure you get to where you want to go without missing stuff along the way. Real technical, I know, but makes a lot of sense right?
I won’t go live today and sing it for you, but all week long the song “slow down, you move to fast, you’ve got to make the moments last, just kicking down the cobblestone, looking for love and feeling groovy” has been stuck in my head, have a great weekend and slow down for it, resting deciding on what’s next (not what’s the end goal) will help you feel better when Monday rolls around.

A quick little side note: The journal, so if you’ve been here long the journal pages that I’ve attach every Monday that in theory are really helpful if you print out, it’s now an actual journal you can purchase off of Amazon. It’s fill in the blank, so ultimately you could use it for a lot of different moments including your emails that you get from me daily. You can check it out here: Everyday I am Worth it Journal
