What you think about you bring about. It’s not a fluke either, it’s your brain! You have a filter in your brain stem called your reticular activating system, its job is to filter out the unimportant input and only let the things you’ve decided are important through.
If you spend your time thinking about how good things are coming your way, your RAS is going to make sure to filter those things through to your conscious brain.
Changing what you think about can change your life, not because anything actually changes, but the information you are perceiving does. (It’s why writing the affirmation matters, you’re reinforcing the message to your brain!)
